Restoring function, supporting whole-body wellness, and helping people return to themselves.

At Mind Body Health & Chiropractic, our mission is to help people feel better, live better, and age better through thoughtful, individualized care. By addressing the root causes of dysfunction — not just managing symptoms — we support physical, emotional, and neurological health so you can move well, function fully, and maintain long-term wellness.

OUR MISSION

Healing happens when we slow down, listen deeply, and address the root cause — not just the symptoms.

Specific, thoughtful care delivered with experience will always outperform rushed, one-size-fits-all treatment.

When the nervous system is supported, the body has an extraordinary capacity to restore function and heal.

we believe:

our approach to care

Many of our patients arrive after seeing multiple doctors with little relief. We take a different approach.

Rather than rushing appointments or focusing on isolated symptoms, we step back and look at the full picture—your spine, nervous system, lifestyle, emotional stressors, and body chemistry. We listen carefully, assess thoroughly, and apply specific, intentional care designed to restore function and support long-term health.

why choose us:

By combining structural chiropractic care with nervous system integration, stress reduction techniques, and integrative health tools, we’re able to help patients with complex or unresolved issues.

We look for root causes.

We don’t treat people like numbers.
Visits are intentionally paced, personal, and focused on outcomes—not volume.

Experience. Precision. Thoughtful Care.

This is care built on tools that work—tested personally, applied thoughtfully, and refined continuously.

We practice what we teach.

With over 27 years of clinical experience, Dr. Meyer continues to refine his skills through advanced post-graduate education and collaboration with leading minds in chiropractic and integrative health.

We value mastery, not shortcuts.

Dr. Meyer was the last member of his family to see a chiropractor.  After an injury to his neck in 1991 that would not heal, he was encouraged to see one.  The unexpected side effects of his care were more energy, no pain, fewer colds and flu in the winter, and decreased allergy symptoms in the summer.  This convinced him that there was more to chiropractic than he thought!  After a long discussion with his D.C. Dr. Mike Lacourt, he decided to change his major in college and become a chiropractor.

Later, as a chiropractic student, he discovered NET and became trained in it as it helped him to process the stress of graduate school and the unexpected death of his father from cancer. Learning compassion via personal loss inspired Dr. Meyer to seek out methods to alleviate physical and mental pain and suffering for the people he would serve. His dedication to continual learning and applying the newest cutting-edge methods has remained a defining quality.  As a perpetually curious learner and applier of new knowledge, he is always studying new and innovative methods of healing. And as a pragmatic farm kid who grew up in northern Wisconsin, these methods have to get results and not just be trendy.

Dr. Christopher Meyer,
D.C, M.S.

With 28 years in practice Dr. Meyer a broad perspective on things as well as a wealth of tools in his toolkit for helping people heal and return to their active lives. “To be able to help heal people with little more than my bare hands is still an amazing thing when I think about it.”  The latest addition to his toolkit was the addition of three Advanced Practice Certificates and a Master’s Degree in Integrative Health Sciences from Thomas Jefferson University Medical School. “I didn’t want to get into a career path where I would learn everything I needed to know and then would get bored. One can never learn everything there is to know about healing and people.” Dr. Meyer is a Diplomate and Fellow within the Gonstead System — the highest level of distinction in this method — and currently serves as President of the Board.

Dr. Meyer also has motivation when it comes to staying healthy and aging well, as he is a husband and a father to young children James and Annie.  Staying healthy and functional is not just due to luck, but to the sum of all actions one takes during one’s life.

“I also got into this field of work so that I could learn how to stay healthy and strong for a long, long time. And I fully expect to do so.”

Hopefully this resonates with you and where you are on your health journey. If you believe that you can regain and maintain health without drugs and surgery and you want to see what your body and mind are capable of, come join us.

Dr. Meyer believes that mastery is not a destination—it is a lifelong process. Each year, he continues to study, refine, and improve so he can provide the most precise, thoughtful care possible for his patients.

Listening First

Your story is not an interruption — it’s the starting point.

Many of our patients arrive feeling unheard or dismissed. We believe healing begins with careful listening and thoughtful questioning. Your history, lifestyle, stressors, and goals all matter. By taking the time to understand the full picture, we can move beyond surface symptoms and begin addressing what’s truly driving dysfunction.

Precision Over Force

Specific, intentional care makes the difference.

The spine and nervous system are not areas for guesswork. We use detailed analysis and precise adjustments to target exactly what needs correction — no more, no less. This approach reduces unnecessary strain and increases the likelihood of meaningful, lasting improvement. In our office, specificity is not optional — it’s foundational.

Depth Over Speed

Real healing isn’t rushed.

While many healthcare settings operate on volume, we choose to operate on attention. Initial visits are comprehensive, and follow-up appointments are intentionally paced to allow for thoughtful care. We value time spent evaluating progress, refining approach, and ensuring your body is responding appropriately. Healing is a process, and we respect it as such.

Growth Through Learning

Mastery requires continual refinement.

Dr. Meyer has never believed that graduation marks the end of education. Advanced training, postgraduate study, and collaboration with other experienced clinicians remain central to how this practice operates. Each year brings new insight, sharper clinical reasoning, and improved skill. Our patients benefit directly from this commitment to staying curious and continually advancing.

The Gonstead System is a highly specific chiropractic approach focused on identifying and correcting spinal dysfunction with exceptional accuracy. It uses detailed analysis—including posture, motion, instrumentation, and imaging when appropriate—to deliver precise adjustments tailored to each individual.

This method forms the structural foundation of care at Mind Body Health & Chiropractic and is especially valuable for complex, long-standing, or unresolved conditions.
